Justine is an Analyst and Researcher Tourism at @IdeaConsult. She has an expertise in destination management and regenerative tourism, a topic she has been researching and translating into practice for several years. She has worked in Flanders and internationally, with experiences in the Netherlands, Les Trois Vallées, Malta and Nepal. Driven by the power of tourism to transform places and communities and economies, Justine starts each project from the unique needs of the destination!
As part of her talk entitled ‘Anticipating regenerative tourism futures: a process-based living systems approach to tourism transition in the Westhoek (Flanders, Belgium)’ Justine Bauters will be discussing the challenges of collecting data and applying Systems Thinking in real destination contexts!
