ATLAS Student Webinar
Employability within the Tourism Industry
Tuesday 30 June 2026
11.00 CEST
This webinar is organized as part of an ATLAS internship project and focuses on employability within the tourism industry for Bachelor’s and Master’s students. The webinar aims to provide students with practical insights, career advice, and industry perspectives from international experts involved in tourism education, skills development, and professional training initiatives. The webinar focuses on actionable knowledge rather than mainly theoretical discussions, helping students better understand current industry expectations and future career opportunities.
Why is this webinar
The tourism industry is rapidly changing due to digitalisation, sustainability developments, labour shortages, and international mobility trends. Many students graduate with theoretical knowledge but limited understanding of industry expectations and employability skills. This webinar therefore aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional practice by connecting students with experienced professionals and researchers from international tourism projects.
Employability within the Tourism Industry
The webinar is mainly aimed at students and recent graduates and will focus on helping them understand what employers are looking for, how they can gain relevant experience during their studies, and how they can prepare for their future careers in tourism.
