Those of us associated with Tourism’s Horizon: Travel for the Millions are very proud to announce that the blog is now supported by ATLAS.
ATLAS has groups and members spread all over the world, with different interests, views and experiences. We’d love to help share these through the blog, and also through our co-publishing partner The “Good Tourism” Blog. If you’ve got an idea, pitch it to us.
To celebrate our association with ATLAS we have 3 excellent articles:
1. Mary Mostafanezhad has written an important explainer on the influential Critical Tourism Studies school of thought. But she also thinks it may be losing its edge. What do you think? Read HERE
2. We want to hear diverse voices, including people outside of the university sector. We are delighted to feature Ceri Dingle, Director of the internationalist charity Worldwrite, giving her strong views on solidarity, tourism and non-governmental organisations. We’d love to hear your view, whether you agree or disagree. Read HERE
3. Finally we have a short piece from renowned photographer Rob Ball introducing us to his excellent new photo book, Benidorm. Rob has previously produced collections featuring other holiday icons such as Coney Island and Margate. Read HERE
We hope you enjoy the blog and also do we hope to feature more writers from ATLAS members in it too!
